The country’s internet quality was ranked 59th overall, with Estonia being the only other European country that scored lower, which was placed 37th.
Malta’s internet stability was particularly low, with both broadband and mobile internet being found to be unstable. Mobile internet was also found to be particularly problematic, with the country ranking 100th in the world in this category.
Additionally, Malta was placed 43rd in terms of internet affordability and 52nd in terms of e-security.
