A Maltatoday poll published today says that Prime Minister Robert Abela is trusted by 49.6% of the electorate while only 25.7% of the same electorate trust Leader of the Opposition, Bernard Grech, his worst result polled since he was appointed leader.

Meanwhile, the same survey shows that from North to South, and from the elderly to the young, Robert Abela is trusted more than Bernard Grech in every category and in every region.

On a party level, the poll points to strong support for the Labour Party with a 44.8% share while the Nationalist Party ranks in at 30%, which translates into a gap of some 39,000 votes.
