You can say that the month of June was easy and breezy when it came to the weather. Despite high-ish levels of heat on certain days, we enjoyed many a cool night and bearable warmth during the day.
But that is all about to change this week, as temperatures are about to peak at 37°C this Thursday…
It’s going to be so hot, that a Yellow Warning has been issued by the Met Office.
You can expect days to feel as hot as 35°C soon… with Thursday set to really turn the heat up on the islands in highs of 37°C.
And if you’re hoping things will cool down once the sun has set, don’t hold your breath.
For the next couple of days, the lowest we’re going to get is 22°C at night.
Put your sunscreen on regularly, and make sure to stay hydrated, as the UV Index is set at 11.
