The PL’s General Council taking place this Sunday will serve as the point of departure for a discussion for the party to continue renewing its operations, structures and policies, a PL statement read.
It will mark the 100th anniversary since the party was established.
CEO Randolph De Battista said that this year the PL will take the opportunity to look at the achievement and the role played by the party in the past 100 years.
“This is the party that works for change. It never feared change.”
Organisational Secretary William Lewis said that a number of activities are being considered to remember this anniversary.
PL President Daniel Micallef said that the 100th anniversary is an opportunity for renewal for the party.
