The family a Maltese mum who collapsed and died while on holiday in Italy say they are ‘devastated’.
Anna Pace, 58, from Swieqi suddenly fell ill at a restaurant in Le Marche.
She had been enjoying a break with her husband and sister in the village of Ortezzano.
Anna’s daughter Amy told of her heartbreak on Facebook.
She said: ‘Mummy has passed away peacefully last night while dancing the night away in Italy.
‘Our lives will never be the same and she will be missed sorely.
‘I love you with all my heart. Please take care of me, Owen, Daddy, your family and everyone who ever knew you!
‘You were respected and loved by many. Fly with the angels Mummy!’
Anna’s son Owen added: ‘Nothing can explain the love I had for my mother.
‘Throughout the hard times, I always had her. But God thought it was her time. No one can change that.’
