This is the moment the Meghan met Beyonce at the European premiere of The Lion King.
The Single Ladies singer, who voiced Nala in the remake of the 1994 classic, came face-to-face with the Duchess of Sussex for the first time in London’s West End on Sunday night.
As Jay-Z looked on, Meghan greeted Beyonce warmly, the two women hugging each other like old friends.
Harry kissed Beyonce on both cheeks and appeared to mention that the American couple were a busy pair.
The singer appeared to answer: ‘A little bit. No more busy than you guys.’
‘And how are the twins,’ asked the prince, in reference to their children, Rumi and Sir.
‘They’re not here. They don’t come on every trip,’ replied Beyonce.
‘We left them at home. They would loved to have been here.’
Jay-Z added: ‘The best advice I can give you, always find come time for yourself.’
Harry and Meghan also met a host of other cast members and stars including Sir Elton John, accompanied by his husband, David Furnish, who wrote the original score.
Meghan was out and about with Archie and Harry at a charity polo match last week with Prince William and Kate and their children, Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte.
She also made two trips to Wimbledon to watch her close friend Serena Williams play, including at the women’s final on Saturday when she was accompanied by Kate her sister Pippa.
The Lion King opens at the Eden Cinemas in St Julian’s on Friday 19 July.
