A march will be organized from the University of Malta to Parliament in Valletta at noon, as thousands of others around the world will also hold rallies of their own.

‘We are calling all students to join us to take action on our future’.

KSU said: ‘All youths and students, are encouraged to join the climate strike and bring along placards expressing the environmental changes they want to see in Malta, with the hope of encouraging change today, rather than tomorrow’.

Other schools were being encouraged to hold events on school grounds too.

The road between the University’s Msida campus and Valletta will be closed for 30 minutes, between 12.30pm and 1pm, this Friday, as part of the march.
