The Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists have been revealed – and one of the acts is from Malta.

Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams had to whittle down 182 acts to just 40.

They include Maltese teenager and 89.7 Bay fan Amy Marie Borg.

The singing sensation, 16, stole the show during the auditions with her rendition of classical piece Nella Fantasia.

Amy Marie, who was also one of 20 Maltese finalists in the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest said: ‘I wasn’t that nervous as it wasn’t that big of an audience but with Simon, I was just a little bit more nervous.’

‘I’ve never sung pop before. I was in musicals as a kid and then it developed into opera.’

She marks herself as nine on a scale of one to 10 of nerves, but will her next performance be confident enough to win over the judges and the audience?

Amy now moves on to the live shows, starting this week on ITV.

She will be hoping to win enough votes from viewers to make it all the way to the top.

Watch Amy’s amazing audition, below:

Britain’s Got Talent Live Semi-Finals begin on Monday 28 May at 8.30pm on ITV.

Followed by Britain’s Got More Talent, also live, on ITV2 at 11pm.

Good luck Amy!
