The police this morning denied that it had received information that bombs had gone missing from a garage.

On Wednesday, Jason Galea, who is accused of a murder, said in court that he had spoken to the police about explosives that had gone missing.

In a statement, the police said it had never received information from Galea that bombs which were allegedly hidden in a garage could have been used in the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia.
